Ignace Karkasy

Ignace Karkasy — a poet with the 63rd Expeditionary Fleet, caustic and hard-drinking, whose verses always told the truth as he saw it. He wrote the scathing pamphlet “Truth Is All We Have”, denouncing the Mournival, and was killed by Maggard, the bodyguard of Petronella Vivar. His fate is an early sign of how truth became dangerous in Horus’s fleet.
