Ignatius Grulgor

Ignatius Grulgor — commander (captain) of the 2nd Great Company of the Death Guard, who supported the coup under the influence of Mortarion and First Captain Calas Typhon. He led the traitors’ assault on the loyalist frigate Eisenstein to stop Garro from escaping and warning the Imperium, but died of the very virus he had released, and his corpse became one of the first Plague Marines.

Fate

Died aboard the Eisenstein (005.M31): accidentally shot a virus bomb, releasing the “Life-Eater”, which killed him and his men. His corpse was resurrected and mutilated by a daemon of Nurgle, but was destroyed once more when Garro returned the ship to reality.
