Mersadie Oliton — a documentarian and the personal remembrancer of Garviel Loken, with brain implants granting perfect memory and the ability to “record” visible memories. She fled the purge of the remembrancers together with Keeler, Sindermann and Qruze on the Eisenstein. Maloghurst secretly implanted a warp eye in her, from which grew the daemon Samus.

Fate

After the escape she was imprisoned in an orbital prison near Titan with her memory coils surgically removed. Earlier a warp eye had been implanted in her to spy on Loken — from it grew the daemon Samus, who later manifested aboard the Phalanx.
