Saul Tarvitz

Saul Tarvitz — captain of the 10th Company of the Emperor’s Children, “the Honour of his Legion”, a rare line officer who sought no high rank. At the last moment he took another’s place in the landing on Isstvan III and, learning that the ships were loading virus bombs, dashed to the surface to warn the loyalists — nearly two thirds managed to take cover. He then led the surviving scratch force of loyalists.
