The Grey Knights are a creation of the Emperor and Malcador against Chaos and daemons. Malcador found twelve worthy ones: four lords laid the framework of the Inquisition, while eight psyker Astartes (from both camps, with a power dormant under the Nikaean Decrees) went with Malcador to Titan. The eight founding Grand Masters are remembered as the “Titans”; Janus (Revuel Arvida) became the first Supreme Grand Master. Later — the Chamber Militant of the Ordo Malleus.
