The Knights-Errant are the secret agents of Malcador the Regent, recruited from the loyalist Astartes of both legion camps. Nathaniel Garro, the first recruited, became “Agentia Primus”. Historians believe they played a part in the unseen “Silent War” between Malcador and Dorn (covert operations against the code of honour). In the Molech campaign their squad under Loken tried to kill Horus aboard the Vengeful Spirit — the mission failed (Callion Zaven was killed).
