Vengeful Spirit
Vengeful Spirit — a Gloriana-class ship, Horus’s flagship from the Crusade to the Heresy. On board were held the meetings of the Warrior Lodge and Horus’s slide into open betrayal at Isstvan III. At the Siege of Terra Horus lowered the shields to lure the Emperor; Sanguinius fell aboard first, then the Emperor teleported in and killed Horus, but was mortally wounded.

- Flagship of Horus Lupercal / the Sons of Horus (XVI); Gloriana-class (a variant of the Scylla pattern), one of the largest command Glorianas alongside _Hrafnkel_, _Conqueror_ and _Iron Blood_.
More
An ancient Gloriana of the Scylla variant, built in M30 by Martian artisans; among the largest command Glorianas alongside Hrafnkel, Conqueror and Iron Blood. From its bridge (the strategium, later the “Lupercal’s Court”) Horus ruled the 63rd Expeditionary Fleet, and the mere arrival of the ship sometimes turned entire systems to surrender. As the Sons of Horus were corrupted, the vessel turned from a warship into a temple to the Dark Gods: the “Lupercal’s Court” moved into its own warp pocket, where Horus, often beside Zardu Layak, lay in a coma while his spirit roamed the Immaterium. By the Siege of Terra the ship had become an extension of the Warmaster’s will and a conduit drawing Terra itself into the warp; Horus lowered the shields by thought alone, luring the Emperor out before the arrival of Guilliman’s fleet, and the teleporting assault troops scattered into daemonic traps, while the final duel ended in the death of Horus and the Emperor’s mortal wound.
Fate
Survived the Heresy; fled to the Eye of Terror with the traitor legions; now the flagship of Abaddon the Despoiler and the Black Legion.
