Erda

Erda — a Perpetual whose genetic heritage the Emperor combined with his own to create the primarchs — in effect their “mother”, as the Emperor was their father, and a gifted geneticist. She was one of the few Perpetuals (like Malcador) who remained with the Emperor. In despair at the bitter fate that the Emperor was preparing for the primarchs, she created a warp vortex that scattered the infant primarchs across the galaxy.
