Maloghurst the Twisted

Maloghurst the Twisted — equerry of Horus and the public voice of the XVI Legion, a former gang leader from Cthonia. He earned his nickname both from his crippling injury and from the labyrinthine workings of his mind. After the Heresy began he served as Horus’s chief counsellor, schemer and executioner, and when Horus fell into a coma after Beta-Garmon, he sacrificed himself to bring the primarch back.

Fate

Died at Heta-Gladius: by a warp ritual (cutting his own throat and binding the daemon Amarok) he entered the warp, found the shard of Horus’s soul and sacrificed himself, resurrecting the Warmaster in time for the Siege of Terra.
