Disputed in the canon

  • The dating and weight of the record are disputed. The Lexicanum infobox for Kalus Ekaddon places Heta-Gladius in 013.M31 and makes it the site of Horus’s resurrection: after the coma into which the Warmaster fell following Beta-Garmon, Maloghurst bound the daemon Amarok by a blood ritual, drew a shard of Horus’s soul out of the warp and sacrificed himself. If this is the same battle, in the atlas it stands two years earlier and is greatly underrated in scale.
