Zardu Layak “the Crimson Apostle”

Zardu Layak, the “Crimson Apostle” — Dark Apostle and commander of the Chapter of the “Unspeaking” of the Word Bearers; he earned his nickname from the ritual of coating his armour in scalding blood. At Calth he and his destroyers of the Ashen Circle carried out some of the worst massacres of the civilian population. He rose to enormous influence, becoming known as the “left hand of Horus”, and wielded the daemon-blades Anakatis.
