Atrocity The Alpha Legion’s biological sabotage dooms a sector to famine: ~90 billion dead.

An Alpha Legion strike group made a warp raid on the outskirts of the Isessos system in the Segmentum Pacificus. The victims, returned to the system, proved infected with an unknown algal strain which within a year turned the saturation fields of three agrarian worlds into poisonous slime — sector-wide famine claimed around 90 billion lives.
