House Makabius

House Makabius is a traitor Knight House from Baroda in the Coronid Deeps, which achieved dominance as early as the Age of Strife (831.M30) by defeating House Wentorth. Because of its poor condition and bureaucratic sluggishness it saw little action in the Crusade and nursed a grievance. Markan Hrotham returned to Baroda with the Warmaster’s seals before Isstvan III, won over the junior Scions and displaced the old guard, leading the house to the traitors. It fought in the theatre of the Coronid Deeps (the Manachean War) and at Beta-Garmon.
