Inconclusive Horus takes the industrial north, but the loyalists and the traitors’ discord prevent a clean seizure.

Horus personally led a campaign into the rich Coronid Deeps to feed the traitors’ war machine. The Sons of Horus took Manachea and Port Maw by treachery, the Death Guard cleansed the Grail Abyss, but the loyal fleet of Port Maw and quarrels between the Alpha Legion and the Iron Warriors denied the traitors a clean victory — the result was a stalemate.
