Red Tear — a Gloriana-class ship (the premier barque of the Blood Angels), built around a great ruby tear with wing-engines in the likeness of the legion’s sigil. In the Signus Campaign its commanding admiral Athene DuCade, driven mad by Chaos, wrecked the navigation and killed the bridge crew; the ship crashed onto Signus Prime as a fortress of scorched red metal — “unconquered” — later rising again into orbit.
