Cyrene Valantion / Actae

Cyrene Valantion, the “Blessed Lady” — confessor to the commanders of the Word Bearers, Lorgar among them, the sole survivor of the burning of Monarchia, where she was blinded by the light of the Ultramarines’ orbital strikes. Killed by the Custodians at the start of the landing on Isstvan V (006.M31) for concealing the Legion’s treachery, she was resurrected by Erebus and proved to be a Perpetual. Under the name “Actae” she led the Word Bearers through the Webway to the Palace of Slaanesh in pursuit of Fulgrim, and then warned Horus of Lorgar’s conspiracy. She is the first Chaos “Living Saint”.
