House Vornherr

House Vornherr is a loyalist Knight House sworn personally to Roboute Guilliman. At Calth (007.M31) it was mustered in the Veridia system for the Calth Convergence; it was caught in the Word Bearers’ treachery — most of the house was destroyed in the very first orbital bombardment. The Duke of Vornherr rejected a chance to flee before the treachery, vowing to follow Ultramar to the death.

Effectively broken by Calth — a once mighty house reduced to a handful of old men and youths with a few ancient Knights.
