Fidelitas Lex

Fidelitas Lex (“Law of Faith”) — an ancient Gloriana-class ship, flagship of Lorgar of the Word Bearers, granted to him upon his reunion with the Emperor. In the Shadow Crusade / the Purging of Nuceria it fought against Ultramar, but was destroyed over Nuceria by Guilliman’s Retribution Fleet; its burning hulk plunged stern first into the Nucerian ocean. Not the flagship of the Ultramarines (a common confusion) — that is Macragge’s Honour.

Flagship of Lorgar / the Word Bearers (XVII); an ancient Gloriana-class ship built to an STC pattern. It led the 47th Expeditionary Fleet of the XVII Legion.

An ancient Gloriana built to an STC pattern, granted to Lorgar upon his reunion with the Emperor and leading the Word Bearers’ 47th Expeditionary Fleet. In the Shadow Crusade it carried the legion through the massacre of the Five Hundred Worlds, but in the Purging of Nuceria Guilliman’s Retribution Fleet, slipped from its leash, caught and shattered it over Nuceria. The burning hulk of Fidelitas Lex plunged stern first into the Nucerian ocean; deprived of his flagship, Lorgar raised his banner on Trisagion. The ship is often confused with the flagship of the Ultramarines — but that is Macragge’s Honour.

Fate

DESTROYED over Nuceria in the early Heresy by the ragged Retribution Fleet of Guilliman’s Ultramarines; after its loss Lorgar took the Trisagion.
