Disputed in the canon

  • The year of the battle is disputed. Lexicanum (Shadow Crusade) retells it after the novel “Betrayer” (A. Dembski-Bowden) and dates only the main phase of the Shadow Crusade — 007–008.M31; Fandom (Angron) names no year. The date 008.M31 comes from Fandom’s Horus Heresy chronology, where the battle concludes the crusade.
