The Sisters of Silence (the Null-Maidens) are warrior psychic nulls whose warp-emptiness extinguishes psychic power. At the Burning of Prospero they deployed beside the Space Wolves and the Custodes against the psychic might of the Thousand Sons; they held the War Within the Webway beneath Terra. Knight-Commander Jenetia Krole sat on the War Council, shielding its deliberations from the warp, and fell to Khârn of the World Eaters in the defence of the Eternity Wall spaceport at the Siege of Terra.

- The Sisterhood of Silence (the Null-Maidens) — warrior psychic nulls whose warp-emptiness extinguishes psychic power; they suffered heavily in the Heresy.
More
The Anathema Psykana, the Null-Maidens — warrior Untouchables who extinguish the very presence of the Warp; together with the Custodes they formed the “Talons of the Emperor” (the Sisters being His left hand) and were based in the citadel of Somnus on Luna. Their combat elite was formed by the Chamber of Oblivion with its Knights of Oblivion; a cadre of “Raptor” (“Hawk-Warden”) served as personal guard to Knight-Commander Jenetia Krole. Their finest hour was the Burning of Prospero, where the Sisters, attached to the Space Wolves, sapped the sorcery of the Thousand Sons with their psychic nullity and became the key to the defeat of Magnus’s legion. Afterwards they held the War Within the Webway beneath Terra; at the Siege, Krole fell to Khârn at the Eternity Wall spaceport, and the Sisterhood itself dispersed, worn down by the war.
Fate
The Sisterhood dispersed/degraded by the end of the Heresy, the orders divided by necessity; only the Chamber Astra never dispersed.
