Burning of Prospero

Place: Prospero · Segmentum Obscurus

Fig. 1 · Place on the map

Pyrrhic loyalist victory The Thousand Sons are almost destroyed, Prospero is scorched; but Magnus is saved by Tzeentch.

The Space Wolves, Legio Custodes and the Sisters of Silence fell upon Tizca, the “City of Light”, punishing the Thousand Sons for breaching the Edict of Nikaea. Magnus, aware that his sorcery had doomed the Legion, offered scarcely any resistance; Russ broke his back in single combat. The doomed Magnus struck a bargain with Tzeentch and carried the survivors to the Planet of the Sorcerers in the Eye of Terror.

Disputed in the canon

  • The FW fractional date 734.004.M31 and Lexicanum give 004.M31; “005–006” is merely a rough grouping from the Fandom table, not a genuine dispute over the year.
