Corvus Corax against Lorgar · Curze Intervenes (Isstvan V)

In the chaos of the Isstvan V massacre Corvus Corax broke through to Lorgar and impaled the Word Bearer on his lightning claws, effortlessly destroying the tainted Astartes surrounding the primarch. When Corax raised his claw for the execution, the blow was met by mirrored steel — Konrad Curze had shielded Lorgar with his own body. Corax burned the entire fuel reserve of his jump pack and tore away into the sky to the laughter of the Night Lord, while Curze pushed the rescued but badly wounded Lorgar back towards his Legion.
