Compliance of Aghoru and the Ark Reach Cluster
Place: Aghoru / Ark Reach Cluster · Great Crusade frontier
Loyalist victory The Ark Reach Cluster is brought to Compliance; the first enmity flares between the Wolves and the Sons.
Magnus the Red’s Thousand Sons led the 28th Expeditionary Fleet to the Compliance of Aghoru — a desert world with a colossal Mountain, a legacy of vanished xenos — where the Battle of the Mountain erupted. The Legion then joined the subjugation of the Ark Reach Cluster: six trade-linked systems, the first four of which had already been taken by the Word Bearers and the Space Wolves of the 47th Fleet. The joint assault culminated in the war on Shrike — Ark Reach Secundus. It was here that the Sons’ sorcery first collided with the Wolves’ distrust — a rift that would later gape open at Nikaea and Prospero.
