Inconclusive The northern hive world of Agathon puts itself on a war footing against the traitors.

Agathon, a hive world and the northernmost anchor of the Imperium, became one of the bastions of resistance in Horus’s war on the Northern Imperium. It was here, 9 months after Isstvan V, that the captured “Warlock” made its way with a handful of surviving Shattered Legions. The Solar Auxilia and the Questoris knights held the Agathon Domain, preparing vengeance on the traitors.

Significance

A strongpoint of the Heresy’s northern theatre and a haven for the survivors of the Drop Site Massacre.

Disputed in the canon

  • One of the theatres of Horus’s war on the Northern Imperium (FW Black Book IV: Conquest), alongside the Cyclops Cluster, Mezoa and Manachea; the exact date is not fixed in the canon.
