The Cthonian Headhunters are cohorts of the Solar Auxilia from Cthonia, the homeworld of Horus, with a fanatical adoration of the Sons of Horus. They wore black-and-red armour of the same roots as that of the Justaerin, and the sign of the Eye of the Serpent — an oath to Horus. Famed for mass infantry assaults and ululating war cries; they fought at the Burning of Prospero, the Siege of Cthonia, Beta-Garmon (5 reinforced cohorts) and the Siege of Terra. Age-old rivals of the Saturnyne Rams.
