Atrocity Khârn burns the shelters of his own Legion; the World Eaters splinter into warbands.

On the daemonic world of Skalathrax in the Eye of Terror the World Eaters met the hated Emperor’s Children in their last battle as a single Legion. When the sides declared a truce and took shelter from the deadly cold of the long night, Khârn in fury judged his hiding brothers cowards and set fire to their shelters with a flamer. The fire got out of control, and Khârn smashed both World Eaters and Emperor’s Children indiscriminately.

Significance

Splits the World Eaters into scattered warbands and gives birth to the legend of Khârn the Betrayer.
