Loyalist victory A seven-year purge drives the remnants of the traitors into the Eye of Terror; the Long War begins.

After Horus’s death the Imperium launched a galactic counter-offensive to burn out the taint of the Heresy. Mars was liberated (015.M31), Dorn declared the “Scouring”; the Night Lords, Emperor’s Children and Alpha Legion tormented Imperial space for another century, but most of the traitors were driven into the Eye of Terror.
