Battle of Phall

Place: Phall System · Segmentum Obscurus

Fig. 1 · Place on the map

Inconclusive Perturabo fails to destroy the Fists’ fleet; Dorn recalls them to Terra.

The Imperial Fists’ Retribution Fleet, bound for Isstvan III, became stuck in the Phall system because of warp storms. Perturabo’s entire Iron Warriors fleet fell upon it, but the vigilance of Captain Alexis Polux and his spherical formation foiled the plan. The drawn outcome is an important reason why the Heresy dragged on for years.
