The geography of late arrivals
Who is not standing at the walls in 014 — and why that is canon, not a gap in coverage. Thramas, the Ruinstorm, Trisolian, Imperium Secundus, Caliban. The absence of a primarch is as much a fact of the map as his presence.

How to look in the atlas
- Time slider at 14.4 – 14.6, the “Legions” rail → I, VI, XIII, XIX: their markers lie outside Sol — that is exactly what a “late arrival” looks like on the map.
- Search: “Guilliman Arrives Too Late” (14.62) — the arrival comes AFTER the duel (14.593).
- “Battle of Trisolian” (12.1): Russ wounds Horus and leaves in pursuit — after that the VI drops out of the equation of Terra.
- “Destruction of Caliban” (15.3) already stands in the epilogue era — the Lion physically could not have been at the walls.
Disputed in the canon
- Caliban in 015.M31 (disputed): The sources disagree (right after the Heresy / 009–014 in the novels about the Fallen). The atlas keeps 015.M31; see the dispute “The destruction of Caliban relative to the Siege”.
- The year of Caliban’s destruction is disputed: old summaries give only “immediately after the Heresy”, the novels about the Fallen scatter the event across 009–014.M31, and the Lexicanum infobox places it in the Great Scouring, ~015.M31. The atlas holds 015.M31 so that the Lion’s absence from the walls in 014 reads as a fact of his route and not as a coincidence of the hour. See the dispute “The destruction of Caliban relative to the Siege”.
