Constantin Valdor — first Captain-General of the Custodes, “First of the Ten Thousand” and the Emperor’s personal shield. He led the defence of the Palace throughout the Siege, cutting down traitors, but could not save the Emperor from Horus, and together with the Custodians carried him to the Golden Throne.

Constantin Valdor — Magnus the Redrivalry
The Guardian of the Throne and the Breach. Valdor accompanies the censure of Prospero and then the whole War Within the Webway, clearing up what Magnus broke through in the cellars of the Palace. This is not a fraternal feud but a conflict between two instruments of the Emperor: the perfect guardian and the perfect sorcerer.
