Pairs of primarchs: the smiths, the hunter and the sorcerer, the wall and the breaker, the Angel and the Master. The personal scores of the primarchs are not decoration for the plot but the reason the campaigns run the way they do.
Events of the theme
- Burning of Prospero Pyrrhic loyalist victory
The Space Wolves, Legio Custodes and the Sisters of Silence fell upon Tizca, the “City of Light”, punishing the Thousand Sons for breaching the Edict of Nikaea.
- Drop Site Massacre on Isstvan V Atrocity
Terra sent seven Legions to crush Horus on Isstvan V.
- Tsagualsa Incident Pyrrhic loyalist victory
Curze called the Lion to talks on Tsagualsa; the conversation broke down, and the primarchs met in a furious duel that ended with their warriors dragging both away gravely wounded.
- Death of Sanguinius · the Emperor against Horus Loyalist victory
Horus lowered the shields of the “Vengeful Spirit”, luring the Emperor. Sanguinius reached him first — and was killed, refusing to betray the Emperor (thus the Black Rage was born).
- The Iron Cage Pyrrhic loyalist victory
On Sebastus IV Perturabo raised the “Eternal Fortress” — a trap of bunkers and trenches in the shape of an eight-pointed star, to lure and bleed the hated Imperial Fists.
How to look in the atlas
- The “Duels” section: the pairs of primarchs are given as a separate entity, not as a line in the description of a battle.
- Time slider 6.5 → 4.6 → 9.1 → 14.593 → 19: two of the five points lie outside the “Heresy” in the narrow sense (Tsagualsa 9.1, the Iron Cage 19).
- The dossiers of Fulgrim and Ferrus one after the other — the Drop Site reads as a murder, not as a battle.
