Primarch · Legion III · traitor
Fulgrim
Fulgrim, “the Phoenician”, primarch of the Emperor’s Children, had fallen to Slaanesh even before the Heresy, through the daemonic blade of the Laer. On Isstvan V he beheaded his own brother Ferrus Manus, and then ascended to become a daemon prince of Slaanesh during the Angel Exterminatus affair, deceiving Perturabo. By the end of the Heresy he is a creature of Slaanesh in the Eye of Terror.

Relations
- Fulgrim — Ferrus Manuskilling
Brothers of the Forge. The closest of friends among the primarchs, bound by craft and pride. On Isstvan V Fulgrim (already under the Laer blade) beheads Ferrus — the first death of a primarch in the Heresy and the point of no return for the III and X Legions.
- Fulgrim — Horus Lupercalalliance
The Phoenix at the Warmaster’s Side. Fulgrim is one of the first primarchs whom Horus sways in person. The III Legion lends Isstvan brilliance and horror, but by the Siege the Emperor’s Children are hardly an army any more. The alliance rests on Fulgrim’s vanity and Horus’s calculation.
- Perturabo — Fulgrimbetrayal
The Stolen Ascension. On Iydris Fulgrim by deceit drains Perturabo’s life force in order to become a daemon prince of Slaanesh. Perturabo does not forgive: this is one of the reasons why the Lord of Iron later abandons the Siege — he does not fight for his brothers’ gods.
