Loyalist victory The ork empire of Ullanor is broken; Horus is proclaimed Warmaster.

At the height of the triumph after the crushing of the ork empire of the overlord Urlakk Urg, the Emperor proclaimed Horus Warmaster — supreme over all the primarchs and expeditionary fleets — and withdrew to Terra for the secret “Great Work” (the project of the Webway and the Golden Throne). The high point of the Great Crusade and the seed of its end.

Significance

Disputed in the canon

  • Some sources place Ullanor at c. 000.M30 (rounding at the turn of the millennium); Lexicanum and the Fandom chronicle give 000.M31, and that is the date retained.
