Traitor victory The Death Guard carry the plague to the walls; Angron descends from the heavens for the first time.

The first ground assaults unleashed hordes of the Lost and the Damned, and the arriving Death Guard of Mortarion rained gas and plague on the trenches. Zardu Layak’s blood ritual shed a rain of blood, weakening the Emperor’s barrier; Jaghatai Khan threw the White Scars into a suicidal counter-attack, and Angron descended from the heavens for the first time and was held back only by the fading power of the Emperor.
